This is my first product review ever and I am glad to present it on one of my favorite and followed blogs!
L'oreal Paris recently launched the Skin Perfect skincare range for age groups 20+, 30+ and 40+ in India. I am here to share my experience with L'oreal Skin Perfect Anti-Imperfections and Whitening Day Cream for age 20+.
PRICE - INR 325 for 50g (Also available in 18g tube for INR 99)
PACKAGING - The packaging is in a white colored sturdy glass jar with a dull gold cap. There is an inner lid over the mouth of the jar to avoid spilling.
TEXTURE - It is a light-weight cream with ideal consistency - not too thick nor too runny and gets absorbed into the skin quickly. The cream is white with slight pink hint to it which does not whitewash the skin or leave a white cast. It instantly brightens the skin and blurs out imperfections.
MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT
I am 22 and I have a combination-oily skin which is sensitive and prone to acne too. So I am very choosy and careful about any skincare that I pick. Recently I got to try L'oreal Skin Perfect Anti-Imperfections & Whitening Cream for age 20+ and was glad to find something specifically designed for my age and skin concerns.
After using it for about 3 weeks I am here with my review. My first impression with it was quite impressive for a pocket friendly drugstore product!
It easily blends into the skin and goes on matte in a few seconds. It instantly brightens the face and stays that way for 5-6 hours even in the humid weather of Mumbai.
It has a pleasant yet strong fragrance, so beauties with sensitive nose might be bothered but fortunately the fragrance vanishes within 15-20 minutes.
It is a good budget friendly day cream for age 20-29 and will be loved by oily skin beauties for its matte finish. A big plus point is the decent sun protection since it comes with SPF 21 PA+++ . You can skip sunscreen if you going to be indoors
It can also replace your lightly tinted BB/CC creams as it instantly brightens the face and blurs out imperfections without leaving any white residue which the usual fairness creams in the market do.
As for whitening claims I cannot see any visible "whitening" in my complexion. But yes it did brighten my face compared to how it was prior to using this. I can say this makes my skin feel more cared and healthy which leads to brightening and glow. Also it is slowly fading my light acne scars. Though I cannot see any reduction in my acne size or occurrence - I am thankful that it did not cause any breakout on my sensitive skin.
I am glad to have tried this and it has become an essential part of my beauty regime. I am surely picking up the facial foam for 20+ from this range.
I highly recommend this cream to all the beauties who are looking for a budget friendly, multi-purpose day cream.
