I am in bed sick today. I have a pretty bad case of conjunctivitis. (It's disguisting. Don't google image it. Trust me.) Which means, I can't wear any make up around my eyes or on my eyelid at the moment. and it is killing me, particularly at work. I'm pretty sure I'm scaring all of the customers away...
So to ease my pain, and probably to distract myself a little bit, I've decided to review the latest lipsticks that have been added to my collection! :)
L - R: Vivo - Pink Pout, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable - Crush, Revlon Just Bitten - Frenzy
Swatches: Vivo - Pink Pout, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable - Crush
1. Vivo - Pink Pout
I brought this Saturday to just slip in my handbag for my best friends 21st night out. It was from Tesco for £1.99! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much from this lippie. But I absolutely love it. It has a really creamy texture and lasts on my lips for ages. It's a lovely pretty pink that can be worn easily in the day, but is just as lovely for a night out. I will definitely be checking out other Vivo lipsticks!
2. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable - Crush
I love this! It's a very deep grape color. It can be applied quite thick for a beautiful vampy look. (Although, it's rare when I'm brave enough to rock that color.) I often apply it lightly for a sutble hint of color. It is very dark, and not my usual color. But I love it, and think I may start wearing it a bit more. I need to get out of my usual make up color look and mix it up a bit more! And it a big crayon! There's nothing not to love about that. So cute!
3. Revlon Just Bitten Stain and Balm - Frenzy
This was the first product I brought out of the three. Like Crush it's a deep grape vampy color. I couldn't be more dissapointed with this product. After two days the pen dried out!!!! I did get it at an introductary £5.99 offer, but that's besides the point. I wish I had a read reviews on MakeupAlley.com before pursuing this. I've never been dissapointed with Revlon products before, but this was a HUGE let down.
What lipsticks have you been rocking recently? I'd love to hear about them! :)
Anyway, I'm going to go back to feeling vile and watching Wes Anderson films and reading magazines until I feel better.
Yay, Rushmore! <3
