I'll quickly summarise the rules of the Liebster Award for those of you who are unfamiliar, in all fairness I kept seeing this award crop up on blogs, but had no idea what it was for. It is an award for bloggers nominated by other bloggers in order to promote them. It's awarded to bloggers with 200 followers or less. (That's me!)
The rules are:
- The selected blogger must write 11 facts about themselves
- They must answer 11 questions that the blogger who nominated them has asked
- They must then create 11 questrions for bloggers they nominate to answer
11 facts about Amanda:
1) My most brought items are books. Last birthday my mom gave me some money and pleaded with me to buy something other than books!
2) I have plenty of weird crushes including Jimmy Carr, Alan Rickman and Eric Lampaert. (That guy from the Up Your Viva adverts a few years back...)
3) I have a very orginised underwear drawer. And when I'm stressed I will start tidying up and reorganising.
4) I have completed Lost, Prison Break, One Tree Hill and Sex and The City. Out of all of them Lost and One Tree Hill would have to be my favourites. I even have a rabbit called Sawyer...

5) Sometimes I will tell people who don't know me that Scarlett Johansson and I are related. I love sharing a surnam with her!
6) I only started drinking tea this year. I never particularly liked it before. Friends and family used to say that I couldn't be British if I didn't enjoy a good cup of tea.
7) I'm currently a studying Media and Communications at Birmingham City Univeristy. I'm in my third year, and it is very stressful. I also work part-time at The Perfume Shop.
8) Beyonce - Me, Myself and I will always be my favorite song. It reminds me of such an amazing and significant point in my life, that nothing will beat it.
9) I love making things! My sewing machine is one of my prized possessions! So far I have made countless cushions, a dress, a picnic blanket and a kindle case! Shopping for fabric is one of my favorite things.
10) Penguins are my favorite animal. I have a lego penguin keyring on my house keys, penguin slippers and lots of penguin cuddley toys! For my 21st birthday last year my mom orginised a day trip out for me to feed the peguins in a zoo! And even though I smelt like fish for the rest of the day, it was incredible.
11) I love animals, despite being severely allergic to fur. (Which means no dogs or cats for me... Boo!) However, I do have a chinchilla, and two rabbits! :)

Who's your style icon?
I wouldn't say I have one set style icon, but I have a few. I mostly love Fearne Cotton, Alexa Chung, Kelly Osbourne and Katy Perry's style.
Who's your favorite actor?
I love Scarlett Johansson, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Bill Murray and Tom Hanks. Doubt I could choose between them.
Cadbury's or Galaxy?
Cadburys. Always. One of my best friends works at Cadbury World, so there are always yummy treats waiting for me at her house!
Favourite Author?
For chick lit, Sophie Kinsella, for comedy, Danny Wallace and for classics, Charles Dickens and Jane Austen.
Favourite High Street Shop?
River Island and New Look.
What's the best advice you were ever given?
Always listen to your Mom. She knows best!
Who would win in a fight, Batman or Iron Man?
Tough question! Both are rich men with technology on their side rather than powers... I prefer Batman as a superhero, but I'm going to say Iron Man because Robert Downey Jr is just plain sexy...
What celebrity would you aspire to be?
Sophia Bush. She's beautiful, classy and so involved in her countries politics and charities. She's setting an example for young woman that you can make a difference, and I love that.
Dream holiday destination?
Either New York or Japan. I haven't been to either but I'd love to!

Why did you start blogging?
On a media course, you are constatly being told to start a blog. I started many but never kept up with them. I created this one just for me, not for my course, but something I could have that was mine. I also noticed how strong the blogging community was, and I wanted to be a part of it.
