LG announced Optimus L1 II, a smartphone driven by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with 3-inch display, designed to attract those who want a low cost phone.

LG Optimus L1 II is the smallest handset of the Optimus II range, equipped with a 3-inch display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This small and lightweight LG smartphone features a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD card. Optimus L1 II incorporates a rear 2-mega-pixel sensor that can capture a video at VGA resolution, still the front camera is missing. With a compact body and 12.2 mm of thickness, the new budget phone from LG supports the 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and a GPS. The built-in battery comes with 1540 mAh. LG Optimus L1 II will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system, enhanced with several software features such as QuickMemo, excellent for taking notes, and Cheese Shutter for taking photographs with voice commands.

LG Optimus L1 II will be available in two color options, white and black, and it will be priced at $95. It will first arrive in Vietnam and Russia, followed by UK and the rest of the Europe in the days to come.
