Leo Rising – December 2012
In December, your mood may be more light-hearted and easy going that the previous ones you have experienced as the Sun is passing through your 5th house of personal creativity, children, hobbies and games. Now you can express your own individual style to those around you and enjoy life a little more, having fun and doing what you want to do. You love to be center of attention anyway, so you should be in your element doing this. The change to get big headed and rather boastful could arise on the 3rd as the Sun, your ruling planet opposes Jupiter. Be mindful not to promise more than you can deliver, especially to friends, groups and clubs. The new Moon on the 13th is in your 5th house and is very expressive and fun. If you have any personal projects in the pipeline or ambitions that you want to try and fulfil, be they related to hobbies, games or sports, arts and crafts, then now would be a perfect time to have a try.
Mercury is moving from your 4th house into the 5th in December, so from discussing and being heavily involved with family issues which will be important to you in early December, you will want to express your own ideas more creatively in the second half of the month. Mercury in the 5th house is in a jocular mood here, and you may be interested in playing games or taking on mental challenges. Mercury in the chart is also the trickster in the sky, and here in the 5th house it is liable to encourage you to play practical jokes on others – be careful not to be too insensitive. Mercury as it enters Sagittarius makes a square to Neptune around 11th December. Venus is initially in your 4th house at the start of December and you will be in the mood form some domestic bliss, you may even decide to redecorate and change the appearance of you abode in some way. Relations with your mother and women in general should be cordial and relaxed. As Venus exits Scorpio and into Sagittarius, it squares to Neptune on 14th. This could lead to you having unrealistic expectations from your husband or family about an issue and relations can now suffer. If everything is fine, this can be the most dreamy and romantic time for you and your partner.
Mars is in your 6th house so you may be very inclined to keep yourself in shape and make sure that you are eating a correct diet. The full Moon in Cancer on 28th December occurs in your 12th house and after the party antics of the lead up to Christmas, this is like recovering after having a couple too many drinks. This is a powerful full Moon hitting the Uranus Pluto square head on and it will force you to reflect on how you can improve your general life in the year ahead, in a health and work sense. I suspect you will be in a more reserved mood just before the New Year comes in, needing a little space and time for yourself for once.
