Laura Mercier has a couple of festive offers available this Holiday 2014, including a complimentary makeovers and a sure-win lucky dip.

The Illuminating Powder in Coral Red Quad was a surprise winner for me – after buying it, I regretted a little given that it seemed a little pedestrian once I brought it home and looked at it among the rest of the blushes I already had. However, I love how the color looks on the skin – it creates a fresh but gentle kiss of color on the cheeks and the 2 darker shades are much nicer for shading just beneath the cheekbones (I’ve come not to like brown-toned contour powders; maybe I’m not doing it right but it somehow always looks bruised on me – this one seems to be a better option for me).

I have a couple of these in the full size and I love them for their jewel shades and longevity. This is the set I’m personally interested in and I’m thinking of getting (but I’ve already spent more than my Holiday budget!)
