Lakme Eyeconic Kajal has been my favorite since the time it was launched and last year, Lakme surprised everyone by launching 5 shades to the eyeconic range - White, Brown, Blue, Green and Grey. I have already reviewed Lakme Eyeconic Kajal (read here) and have recreated Kareena's Bolt of Blue (see here) and Grey Goddess (see here) looks.Today I have the Lakme Eyeconic Blue Kajal under the scanner.

My experience with the product
Lakme Eyeconic Kajal comes in same packaging as the Eyeconic Kajal - black twist-up packaging with brand insignia in bold letters. The shade name is mentioned at the end of the pencil. The cap shuts tightly and will not come off in your handbag. Personally, I expected the outer packaging to be color coded - like the Eyeconic White for easy identification of shades. The texture of the kajal is very soft, smooth and creamy but would not tug/pull on application. The kajal glides easily on eyes and is super pigmented - gives opaque coverage in 2 swipes. the finish is matte and is safe to be applied on waterline, The kajal has excellent staying power and stays on my eyelids for 6-7 hours without smudging and on waterline for 6 hours without irritating eyes. The color sets into a waterproof and smudge-proof finish within seconds of application and also withstand vigrous rubbing.Lakme Eyeonic Blue is a matte deep navy blue when swatched but on my lids its a very dark indigo shade. Overall, Lakme Eyeconic Blue is a gorgeous deep navy blue amost indigo eye pencil which has a creamy texture and does not tug. It did not sting my waterline and easily showed up on my lids. The retractable pencil form comes as a travel-friendly product which yu can easily carry in your handbag. If you love colored liners then the new Lakme Eyeconic Kajal colors are a must have in your aisle!Highly Recommended!
