My experience with the product
- Texture is slightly on the thicker side. That’s why it spreads and blends with ease. Light patting/massage for a few seconds is enough to give a nice, even, matte finish.
- Coverage is sheer to medium. It does even out and brighten the skin. It covers up redness but acne marks/spots/under eyes need some extra concealing.
- Love the finish! Its a natural matte looking finish.It does not feel heavy or cakey on skin. The overall look is very natural, doesn't look like you’re wearing a product on the skin.
- Doesn't feel particularly hydrating but its not rich either. My T-zone begins to get oily in about 4 hours post application (with compact). Even though it has a matte finish, it doesn't feel dry on the skin, but one (with dry skin like mine) should use a light moisturiser beneath to soothe dry patches.
- I have only tried the darker shade Bronze which suits me perfectly. Beige would go well for Fair complexions.
- Sun protection - the CC cream has SPF 20 and no PA++. So it only shields against UVB rays (responsible for burning i.e tanning) and not UVA rays (responsible for ageing). I wouldn't recommend skipping your sunscreen unless you’re indoors all the time.
- Refreshing Scent! The CC cream smells of lemongrass - that is very common with Lakme Sunscreens.
