My experience with the productLakme CC Cream comes packed in a pale gold colored tube with fuchsia lettering and a silver cap. The tube comes housed in a fuchsia colored cardboard box that contains - ingredients, shade name and other necessary details. The packaging is sturdy, convenient and easy to use.

The texture of this cream is neither too thick nor too runny, rather it is velvety smooth and spreads as well as blends with ease with light strokes of massage to give a nice, even finish. It has a soft natural matte finish and delivers light to medium coverage making it apt for everyday use. You can layer it in areas that need more coverage. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and the overall effect is quite natural.

Post application, my T-zone begins to get oily in about 5 hours (with compact). To wear it for the full day, I need to do touch ups with compact to keep my face shine free. Even though it has a matte finish, it doesn’t feel dry on the skin, but a moisturizer underneath is a must because the texture is not enough to soothe dry patches.

The CC cream only has SPF 20 and no PA++, so I wouldn’t recommend skipping your sunscreen unless you’re indoors all the time. The cream has the same lemongrass scent as the Lakme sunscreens, I find it refreshing!

Lakme CC cream comes only in 2 shades – Beige and Bronze. Beige is for fair skin tones, while Bronze works quite well on my skin.

Overall, I like this on a very humid day for a light coverage on my face and complete my look with just kohl and matte lipstick.
