After constantly and without any intention hoarding on to a lot many red lipsticks common sense finally kicked in and I got a different colored lipstick. Happy about that. So here I am with the new lipstick in my kitty. Its the lakme 9to5 lipstick tea break .
I have to say this is my first Lakme purchase in a long long time. And boy have I been missing out or what? I am so mermerized by the quality of the Lakme 9to5 lipstick range.

I bought this lipstick from Myntra as I had some coupon to use and I randomly picked up this shade guessing from the name that it will belong in the nu@e category. I am a sucker for smokey eyes and so nu#e lipsticks get very good use for me. Lakme 9to5 lipstick tea break is a beautiful MLBB kind of shade that will look good on almost all skin tones, though on the darker skin tones it might wash you out, so keep that in mind. Its a soft nu@e shade with pink undertones, hence it almost looks like the color of lips. I am a big fan of the lipstick that Priyanka Chopra sports most of the time, a nu#e matte, just there kind of lipstick, its similar to that. A nu#e MLBB matte lipstick.

PACKAGING: Lakme 9to5 lipstick gets a total 10 on packaging, the rose gold color gives it an ultra luxurious feel. Its quiet different as well from what we regularly see in the drugstore section. And the cap shuts tight so its travel friendly as well.

TEXTURE: I had not expected it to be so soft and smooth frankly I was surprised the way it just glided on my lips. Tea Break has a soft matte texture which glides on the lips without any tugging and pulling.
PIGMENTATION: One swipe and you are done, though it feels so moist and soft on the lips that you cant resist applying one more coat. I love how it feels on my lips, its a light weight formula with mild fragrance that goes off after few minutes. The lipstick has great staying power as well. It lasts a good 4-5 hours on my lips , with light snacks. Its not drying at all on the lips , in-fact it keeps the lips moisturized.

Overall I am super impressed with the lipstick.
