My experience with the product
L'Oreal Paris Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks comes dolled up in a gold tube packaging with a colored band along one side of the tube - which makes us easy to identify shades. The shade name is mentioned at the bottom - that is color coordinated so you can store them upside down and easily locate the shades you wish to use.

It's a hybrid between a liquid lipstick, lip balm, and a lip gloss. Pigmentation of a liquid lipstick, a hydrating formula like a lip balm, and the high gloss shine like a regular lip gloss. It's sort of like wearing a thick lip balm. The oil-based formula is packed with pigment, so it feels super moisturizing but also delivers great color. I found the application to be quite easy because the soft, leaf-shaped applicator can be used to precisely line lips while the wide side fills them in quickly. The texture is so silky and smooth and stayed on nicely without smudging or bleeding with wear. I found these glosses really easy-to-wear; they’re super creamy and definitely made my lips feel soft!
The shine does fade the longer you wear it. For the lighter colors I got about three hours of wear without eating or drinking. While I got about four hours of wear time from the darker shades without eating or drinking. The color does transfer to cups and eating/drinking will decrease wear time significantly. In addition, I only experienced slight staining from the darker shades. The formula has a strong perfume-y fruity floral taste and smell but I personally don't mind it. If you're someone who is sensitive to fragrance then you might not like these.
The formula is very similar to the recently-launched Maybelline Colorsensationl Lip Polish (Read review). Although these ones come in a bit of a smaller color range, I found them all to be a little more conservative and neutral, which is nice for daily wear. The Maybelline ones have a couple more brighter, bolder shades - plus the scent is much stronger. Although Maybelline ones are half in price, but I recommend checking out each formula (you might find something from each line that you love!
Overall, These lip glosses are great if you love rich color and want some serious shine. The texture is perfect for those who prefer a thick, creamy gloss and want to add a little extra moisture to the lips.

204 Tangerine Sonate
Tangerine Sonate is a true tangerine color with minimal golden shimmers and delivers medium pigmentation that adds lovely orange juiciness to the lips. The color adds warmth and glow to face and would suit almost every complexion but do remember to wear a nude lip liner beneath - if you have heavy pigmented lips.

106 Fuchsia Orchestra
Fuchsia Orchestra is a vivid magenta with a creamy finish. I was expecting this color to be patchy but was seriously surprised at how even it applied to the lips. If you want a less intense look, then dab it on with a finger and blend. I'm loving color in the spring and summer!

202 Coral Encore
Coral Encore is a light peachy coral with fine golden shimmer. The formula is opaque and didn't crease in my lip lines. If you like orange lips but don't want a vivid opaque orange lip then you might like this for a subtler look.
