Kuala Lumpur Skyline

By Travelmakesmetick

Kuala Lumpur has a number of rooftop bars which boast impressive views of the city, but there’s nothing like gawking at the downtown skyline from the comfort of your home (for the time of your stay at least), or even better, from an infinity pool.

Luckily you don’t need to spend a fortune on a luxury hotel to do that. Sites like Airbnb have a number of apartments with stunning views, available for short-term rent. Chances are you won’t get much sleep while staying in one of these, staring at the Petronas Towers and the surrounding scyscrapers at different times of day and night (weather permitting of course, especially at sunset, when rain is a common occurrence in KL). It’ll all be worth it, though.
