Mr. B talking about the 5K he and the kids ran this morning while I heated up some lunch for us all. Miss S ended up walking with a friend and my son made 2nd place in his age division.
When I asked Mr. B how he did….
Second Place Baby! Way to run that 5k!
Normally, we run this annual Turkey Trot as a family but this year, when the applications came in, I just wasn’t into it. Too much going on and, at the time, I really didn’t want to “see” anyone or “do” anything.
So far, the plate clearing has stuck. I have been adamant about not filling it back up with this and that and the other. How easy is that to do!? For me, a typical Type A Spaz, who likes to always be doing something – too easy! Right now, it is about healing, family, home, close friends & sitting on my hind-end for a bit.
The kitchen is one of the main hang outs for us – even the furry ones. There is a spot in the kitchen (late morning) that the sun comes in through the window that the dogs vie for…
Miss Ellie catching some rays.
And has the coveted ball!
I love this girl!
Lunch is ready…
Beef Stew from yesterday. It always tastes better the day after!
I saved some for us to enjoy and the rest will go in the freezer…
As for the rest of the day? Pretty low-key…
Mr. B decided a nap was in order – good call! Miss S headed out with friends. I worked on a cross-stitch project and D on one of his computer programs. A relaxing Saturday all in all. Perfect!
