Kings Christian Centre Mold – Review [2025]

By Geoff Griffiths @mmatraining1980

Kings Christian Centre in Mold presents itself as a family-friendly church. However, in my opinion, visitors should be cautious.

During my visits, I felt the atmosphere was not welcoming to differing views and questioning, although everyone was VERY friendly – which is what you would expect…

There is little transparency about doctrinal details or leadership training, and key aspects of their evangelical doctrine are not obvious upfront.

At the time of writing, safeguarding appears to be overseen by an ex pastor of the center and a current church leader.

Kings Christian Centre Mold – Review [2025]

Both the Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead appear to be established internal church leaders, with one a former pastor.

Thirtyone:eight, as well as general safeguarding best practice, strongly recommend that safeguarding arrangements involve impartiality and independence—especially in cases where concerns may relate to the leadership itself.

Former members and others have shared concerns about the church’s high-control culture, including limiting critical thinking and discouraging relationships outside the church.

Some have reported experiences of manipulation and coercion, which is deeply concerning.

I personally found evidence of online monitoring

If you value open dialog and inclusive community, this may not be the right church for your family.

I have created a support group for former members online to help those wanting to share their experiences.

For a fuller picture, I recommend reading multiple reviews from past attendees on Trustpilot and other review sites.
