Hair & Beauty Magazine
January is over, can you believe it!? I have done what seems to be loads of spending in January so I thought I would just put everything together in one big haul. I have already had a nail haul (click here to read) in which I got loads of bargain nail polishes so make sure to check that out.
I'll start with hair care, this month I decided to invest in the Pantene Breakage Defence Range, I purchased the shampoo, conditioner and intensive conditioner. I have had really dry, breaking hair all over winter and I was just getting sick of it. I haven't tried anything from Pantene before so I thought I would give it a go. So far I am loving it, my hair is so much softer and loads more mousturised. I *think* there has been less breakage but I will report back properly with a full post all about the range. My final hair care product is the Lee Stafford hair growth treatment. I have had this before and after having my hair cut a few months ago (totally wishing I hadn't) I really just want log locks again. I thought I would give this ago, even if it doesn't make my hair grow it will be a nice protein treatment keeping my hair healthy.
Onto skincare, I took the plunge and purchased the Clinique anti blemish 3 step system. I have spoken a little before about my skin recently but I'm thinking of doing a whole post about it. For my birthday my friend bought my the monthly trial system which is essentially minis of the kit. I have been really enjoying using it and I think it has really helped calm my skin down. I decided to just get the cleanser, the clarifying lotion and the mousturiser, all from the anti blemish range. But I think I may have to add the mask to my collection. I haven't finished my mini's yet but I had to make sure I had a back up. I also got a mini Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish as boots had to order me in the clarifying lotion. I am definitely looking forward to trying this.
And to my make up purchases. Firstly one I forgot to photograph, I picked up the L'Oreal True Match Mineral Foundation. I have had such bad skin recently wearing liquid foundation makes it look so much worse. I thought a mineral foundation will help calm down redness without it looking caked on. I have been loving using this so far and would recommend it if you are in the market for a mineral foundation. I also seem to have picked up 3 mascaras in the past two days! L'Oreal was on 2 for £14 so I took advantage of the deal and picked up two mascaras, the Volume Million Lashes Extreme and False Lash Telescopic, I have tried them both so far and I'm not sure I'm in love, yet... My mom also picked up a few things from No 7 and the girl serving was so lovely and offered us a sample each. My mom chose an eye serum and I chose the Lash Impact Mascara, I have just given it a go and so far so good.
Finally I made two fashion purchases this month. I was in need of some new shoes, so my mom treated me to some new low top black converse. I love these, so comfy, and I have worn these almost every day.I also bought a simple black bodycon dress from Topshop, it was only £22 so I basically needed it, right?
So that is pretty much everything I have bought this month I would love to know what you guys have picked up this month.
