Jan.’s the Time to Plan | Little Prince Moleskine & “Pag-Ibig Lang Yan…” 2014 Planners

By Blessmybag @blessmybag

It’s only the 3rd day of January, if you didn’t get a 2014 planner last year then for the whole of January it isn’t too late to hunt for a decent planner (that I should actually stick to writing in even after 6 months LOL, you get what I mean).

Little Prince White & Navy Moleskin 2014 12M Pocket Planner Php 800/900 (National Bookstore and The “Relaks Pag-Ibig Lang Yan Parang Kagat lang ng Langgam” Planner (Php 490.00 available at Bratpack and online via QuirksPH.com )2014 by Witty Will Save the World, Co. (@titawitty on Instagram and Twitter)

Here are the ones I found that appealed to me instantly and they’re both “hand-size” and hardbound.  One is  a limited edition Moleskin and the other is Witty Will Save the World’s most recent Pinoy humorous offering, in the past I blogged about their Tanso Edition Slumbook and someone pretty “sikat” wrote in it.  Click “more” to get a closer look at these planners and jump to the full post.

I spotted the limited edition Little Prince White & Navy Moleskin 2014 12M Pocket Planner just before Christmas, it was the last one in National Bookstore Greenbelt 1, they may still have stock in other branches.  Just know that the title and quotes within are still originally French “Le Petit Prince”, I guess Moleskine didn’t get the rights or something to the translated writings, but the calendar itself and everything functional inside is in English. This is the actual planner I am using.

So that planner is already being used and at the back it contains a pocket insert address book.

I also just got yesterday a copy of The “Relaks Pag-Ibig Lang Yan, Parang Kagat Lang ng Langgam” (Relax it’s just Love, like an Ant Bite) Planner 2014 by Witty Will Save the World.  It could primarily be a planner geared towards the love-frustrated (sits on hands) LOL but it totally lifts one’s spirit with its witty humor and hilarious musings and fill in the blanks activities inside.  While I don’t plan to use both planners while on-the-go I figured this funny one could be where I journal and calendar some  funny moments or secret things that are more personal and leave it at home or show to close friends and family only.

I’ve blogged before about WWSTW’s “Akala Mo Lang Wala Nang Slumbook Pero Meron 3x” in the past, the one that Mikey Bustos filled up here.  The WWSTW group are a witty bunch of Filipinos (obviously) who sort of sound like my “pilosopo” classmates in U.P. Fine Arts…also meaning they’re (or that person is one of the) hands down funniest people around.

The planner even comes with love-related, relationship advancing coupons for your sentimental benefit, take for example the proposal coupon with a cut-out engagement ring, single-use only “forever niyo ‘yan”, or the “Hi, Crush Po Kita ” coupon.  Plus don’t forget to answer the “How Tanga Are You in the Larangan of Love” Survey.  My mom was going through that page and laughing out loud for minutes on end.  It makes a great gift as well especially if you’ve got a friend or relative who’s recently broken up or is just romantically frustrated and needs a bit of cheering up.  Even people who aren’t plagued by love’s pain will enjoy the special dates indicated in the book like Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin’s anniversary or the day that Anne Frank confessed her love.  It’s a jam-packed planner for people who need a little bit of a pick-me-up and more than just their lives and to-dos on the pages.  Hope you liked these recommendations :)  I really like both of them.
