Jacquie After 6 Months on Keto

Jacquie after 6 months on keto

Jacquie was overweight, worried about her health and being a bad role model for her daughters. She decided to do something about it and signed up for the 2-week keto challenge. This is what happened:

Hi, my name is Jacquie.

I am 48 and I live in New Zealand. When I started the two-week challenge in April I was 119 kg (262 lbs), the heaviest I have ever been, and miserable. I was embarrassed about my weight and felt constantly judged for it.

I was worried that my two daughters were embarrassed about me too and worse that they would not know enough about having a healthy relationship with their bodies to set them up for great lives. I wanted to be a better role model for them. I felt the problem as so bad that I considered surgery as a last resort. Now I have lost almost 20 kg (44 lbs) and my attitude towards food and exercise and about myself has changed completely. I feel amazing! For me, the two-week challenge started a complete recalibration in my life.
