India Spa Week 2016 is being organized this week (Feb 26 - Mar 6) to emphasize on the same across 5 major cities in India - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad & Bangalore. 15 spas from across the country came together for this event.
Sharing my experiential review on Isa Spa, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad today in the blog that participated in the India Spa Week as well.

AROMATHERAPY BODY SPA
I was welcomed by the spa manager upon arrival and promptly seated. He then called upon the masseuse Rimi who helped me with my feet cleansing first - setup at the spa lobby itself.
I changed into a pair of spa slippers before we moved into the private massage room.
I really liked how the corridors and therapy rooms are dimly lit with all brown furnishings so that not much of lights is reflected. The brown and dull gold interiors definitely soothes your eyes and transcends to a calm world.You almost here no noise of the outer world inspite of this spa being in a busy mall!
The spa corridor might look too narrow but the rooms are spacious enough. Each room comes with a shower closet, a dress stand, a drawer with a lock to place your valuables and a dressing mirror.
I changed into spa wear and we kicked off our aromatherapy body massage with a mixture of essential oils. The masseuse kept checking with me on the massage pressure at intervals to make sure I am convenient.
Very mild instrumental being played, the aromatic oils and the relaxing body massage - literally transported me to another world after yet another hectic day at work! I have been having mild lower back pain of late which she took care of during the massage concentrating in the area with soothing strokes.
The massage lasted for a good 90 minutes. Post a refreshing shower, I had some warm water and herbal tea waiting for me.
Only drawback for me would be that the massage rooms do not have doors but curtains for cover. Someone moving or talking in the corridor outside the room tends to disturb a little and also a privacy issue for me!
Simply put - 2 hrs. well spent at the Isa Spa!
