I Scream, U Scream for Ice Cream
If you have seen my Instagram stories while I was travelling before, you will realize I eat a lot of ice cream. There's something about consuming a cold and soft dessert at an unfamiliar place that calms me down. I particularly enjoy trying out unique ice cream like tofu ice cream, for they add the element of exotic flavour to the comfort food that I am used to. Since we are all stuck in our comfort zone and fruits are the only dessert I eat these days, I thought we should spice things up and get ourselves some ice cream from Mathilda's Gelato Ice Cream Delivery while we're in Singapore.

Since trying out 50 flavours is an impossible task, I chose 5 flavours to try out - Rocky Road, Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel with Almonds, Earl Grey Tea and D24 Durian.
Rocky Road
With a combination of chocolate and mini marshmallow, Rocky Road Ice Cream easily tops my list as my favourite ice cream. The chewy and fluffy marshmallows bounce against your teeth as you savour the bittersweet chocolate. Aside from the marshmallows, there are chunks of nuts and chocolate chips mixed in the ice cream as well. I particularly like how the chocolate ice cream was not especially sweet nor bitter, making it the perfect balance for a rocky road ice cream.
Peanut Butter
The creamy and thick Peanut Butter ice cream is a wonderful option for those that have less of a sweet tooth. This salty and sweet option is packed with chocolate chunks to complement its smooth peanut butter flavour. Its strong peanut butter aroma and chunky chocolate are flavorful enough to satisfy the 5 years old child in you. If you are a huge fan of peanut butter, this savoury and sweet dessert would easily top your list.
Salted Caramel with Almonds
The buttery salted caramel with almonds ice cream is a source of heaven for those that love buttery, salty popcorn. The salty and slightly sweet caramel makes this ice cream the perfect choice for those that are not a fan of candied tasting food. The buttery caramel melts in your mouth as you chew on the chunky, chopped unpeeled almonds. The authentic almond taste goes well with the slick ice cream, complementing each other in every bite.
Earl Grey Tea
The light Earl Grey Tea is the perfect ice cream if you are looking for ice cream to pair with your chocolate brownie or hot waffle. The sweet tea tickles your nose, putting you in a calm and relaxed state. I enjoy having the Earl Grey Tea ice cream by itself with a piece of plain waffle. That is when you can appreciate the black tea dessert to its fullest.
D24 Durian
The D24 Durian exceeded our expectations as one mouthful of this will lead you craving for more. The king of fruits dominates your senses, proving itself to be the best of the best. Its strong taste and smell make this creamy and thick ice cream a favourite for the durian lovers in my family. It was an unexpectedly great ice cream that vanishes quickly due to the high demand amongst my family.

All in all Mathilda's Gelato Ice Cream Delivery delivers top-quality ice cream at an economical price. The ice cream arrived frozen and packed neatly. They even included various sampling cup and spoons for us to use.
I enjoy all the flavours but one stood out to my family the most - D24 Durian. If you are looking for a flavour that reminds you of Singapore, I would recommend the D24 Durian due to its smooth quality and strong flavour.
