I Now Consider Myself a Yoogaian…

By Clo Hutch @lashesoflife

Ok so I think I made that word up, but it sounds quite cool, don’t you think? I’m not quite good enough to be a fully fledged yogi, but I do love a good yoga class and have become slightly addicted to Yoogaia!

For all of you who don’t know what Yoogaia is…it’s an online portal where you can access live or recorded yoga classes in a number of different languages. Not only this but you can select the length of the session and how sweaty or calming you’d like to take it making it perfect for fitting into a busy schedule.

There’s been plenty of times I’ve fancied a yoga class and not found one in a good location or at a good time for after work/the weekend – now I have the perfect answer.

I’ve actually been turned into a fanatic! I’ve been dong it for a few months now and love how easy it is to bring out my mat and get to work whenever I feel like it.

I’ve even just mastered being able to sort of do the crow pose…wahooo! Take a look…

For anyone who’s worried about their stances, if you attend one of the live classes  you can turn on your camera so the instructor can see you and guide you – pretty awesome huh?

Ok, so there is a cost – at the moment it’s £14.99 for one moth or there’s bigger packages making it even cheaper (3 months works out at £10.99 per month – this is the package I just bought). But when you can access this 24/7 and compare the cost to a single yoga class – it’s definitely worth it!

They’re giving seven day free trials to new customers so go check it out – yoogaia.com

One of my promises to myself this year is to keep up with the yoga, to become stronger and more flexible and learn to relax, de-stress and love my body. I’m already improving my balance!

Let me know what you think and keep tuned for more in on my Yoga progress.

P.s I met the Yoogaia team at the yoga show in late 2015. I received a month’s free trial but have since paid for extra access due to loving the portal. All views my own!
