Well the day came for Jonny and I, to go and see Fall Out Boy :)
On Monday morning woke up bright a early with Jonny and the kids got them ready as they were staying at granny's & grandads house had a nice cup of tea then got round to sorting what I was taking to the gig , at first I was going to take my Nikon d3100 but it's that big would not really fit into my bag plus did not want anything to happen to it so I opted for my old camera my lumix which had a good zoom.
All ready and sorted to go drop the kids off, after we headed to Manchester's Trafford Centre as the doors did not open till 6pm.
Round 2:30 got to the shopping center only an hours drive for us so not bad. We headed straight to get some lunch I am on a healthy eating diet, but seen as the tickets were bought for my birthday, I did have a nice veggie burger- Grilled aubergine, goats cheese, harissa mayo, artichoke pesto, rocket, pickled onion plus Skinny Fries from the gourmet burger kitchen.
Have to say it was very nice yum yum !
Got on with some shopping and found out they had not long opened a Hamleys toy store ohhh yep had to go in ,found and got a little get well soon fairy & a very nice set of 3 girley cases thought would be nice for Millie's hair accessories and what a bonus was £20 down to £10.
After just had to go to Selfridges Jonny was like a big kid looking at the huge TVs.
Got a few baking bits to make a cake for my daughters birthday, then after some more shopping was time to head to the phones 4u arena which was only about 20minutes away .
We got to the arena and I must say I was very excited,bought a fall out boy skinny top for myself and a quick drink then headed to our seats. Got to say when we got to them was very happy as I thought we would of been at the back and of the arena but was near the front.
It kicked off round 7:30pm with support acts from New Politics then The Pretty Reckless.
Ohhh yes, then the big one for me when Fall Out Boy took to the stage ekkkkkkk.
