We purchase, share and delete apps daily, without giving it too much thought. If you accidentally delete an app or you simply want an old one back, don’t panic, there’s a solution for this.
The restoring process is really easy.
Go to the App Store and head to the Updates section, where you’ll have a list of all your apps with available updates. Once there, tap the Purchased tab at the top of your screen to open the purchasing history on your iTunes account (the most recent app will be the first on the list). Next, tap the Not on This iPhone tab to view the purchased apps that you currently don’t have installed on your iPhone. Scroll down the page to find the app you want to restore (the list could be quite long, depending on how many iOS devices you have).
Finally, simply tap the little cloud arrow icon to re-download the app back onto your device.
Note: You will not be charged for re-downloading an app that you already own, as long as your Apple ID is the same.
