Recipe of Amritsari Aloo Wadi
Aloo wadi is a popular indian punjabi dish made from potatoes and dal wadi. Spices gives a wonderful aroma and color to the curry. Lets have a look towards recipe:

Ingredients
- 2 large Potatoes, Sliced
- 1 cup Split Green Gram Nuggets
- 1 large Onion, Chopped
- 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced
- 2 medium Tomatoes, Chopped
- 2-3 Green Chillies, Chopped
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 pinch Asafoetida
- 2 tsp Kasoori Methi
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1-2 tsp Kashmiri Red Chili Powder
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
- Oil for fry
Step 1: Heat oil in a pressure cooker, fry greeen gram nuggets and set aside
Step 2: Add asafoetida and cumin seeds in remaining oil,when cumin seeds crackles add kasoori methi and garlic. Mix well
