How to Guide: Long Lasting Lipcolour

There are many lip products on the market which claim to give long-lasting lip colour, my personal favourites are the MAC Pro Longwear Lipcremes or cheaper alternative Maybelline Superstay 24 Lip Colours. However instead of going out an purchasing one of the products I want to share with you some tip and tricks to make the lipsticks you already have last that little bit longer throughout the day.
What you will need:

Step 1: Apply a good lipbalm. I am using Maybelline's Baby lip here however Burt's Bees lip balms are excellent too. I usually apply this before I do my foundation/eyes/cheeks so it has some time to sink in.

Step 2: Lightly line the lips with a liner that closely matches your natural lip colour, here I am using Bourjois lipliner in 11 Enjoleuse.

Step 3: Apply the first layer of the lipcolour, I am using a MAC lipstick in Vegas Volt.
Step 4: Pat your lips with a tissue to remove excess color. Your lips will then look like they have just been 'stained' with the color.

Step 5: Apply a second layer of the lipcolour and dab a small amount of your favorite gloss in the center of your bottom lip and to your cupid's bow. Blend out gently with a fingertip. You're done!
