Sydney is Australia’s most popular city! Known mostly for its recognisable landmarks such as the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, as well as its outer regions such as the Blue Mountains. However, after seeing these spots, what else is there to do? We’ve tallied up the best things you can do during your Sydney Adventure, so you can work out how long you should stay for!

Bondi Beach

If you are after a beach day amidst the soft sands of Australia, Sydney’s Bondi Beach is a great option! Located just outside of the city region, the beach is perfect for those staying inner cities and want a getaway adventure that is only a train ride away! It is one of the most iconic beaches in the whole country, even appearing in tv shows, books, and movies! The shops and restaurants nearby the beach are just as good, so you can hop from the beach to the café, back to the beach, and end at the bar! If you want to experience what Bondi has to offer, spending a whole day here is necessary!

Art Gallery of NSW and The Botanical Gardens

See the city’s prettiest spots! With both outside and indoor attractions! Spend the morning in the Art Gallery of NSW and discover the stunning artworks of both international and local artists. Stopping off for a quick lunch, and then enjoying the afternoon strolling the walking paths of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Restaurants and Bars

During your nights amidst Sydney’s bustling city centre, you don’t have to head back to your hotel room, but instead enjoy the nightlife. The city is swarming with glamorous restaurants and stylish bars, from fine dining experiences to grungy laidback spots! Each restaurant serves up a diverse range of cuisines to choose from, including Asian, Mexican, European, and more! Sydney is most famous for its seafood selection, with places offering up platters of fresh seafood! Venture out and enjoy prawns and cocktails for the night!

Paddy’s Markets

Shop until you drop at Sydney’s biggest market! It has been running for over 150 years, with over a thousand stalls within both the Haymarket and Flemington locations. No matter what you are looking for, whether it be fashion, arts and crafts, produce, or souvenirs, the Market has you covered! A trip to the market typically takes a morning but can turn into a full day if you make the most of it!

Luna Park

Looking for a side adventure for the kids? Why not a day at Luna Park! A wonderland full of amusement park rides, entertaining performances, and endless treat shops, Luna Park is great for the whole family! Even if you haven’t got kids to take you’ll enjoy it, with first-class dining on a Ferris wheel available for Sundays, giving you a perfect sunset dinner view to finish your trip up in Sydney!
