So firstly how do they work?So basically they create a barrier between your hair and the heat, therefore the heat is not ad directly frying your hair. If you use a good conditioner or mousse then that is going to work the same way and create a layer. But heat protectants are just a separate product. Most products are branded with another factor like moisturizing or nourishing or creating shine. Most of them also contain added proteins this helps make the hair stay healthy and keep growing at a steady rate. They can also help with split ends.

I personally would recommend either "Frizz Ease" or Lee Stafford Flat Iron MistThe Frizz Ease product had nourishing ingredients and also helps keep your hair straighter for more than one day, this is great especially if you do have frizzy hair.I also would recommend Lee Stafford Flat Iron Mist as this is one I personally use as I can notice a difference with my split ends and it smells amazing. Like seriously amazing.
I would only pay more then £5 for a heat protection product if I could see a real difference within my hair as I do believe that hair can be protected if you use a good conditioner or mouse.
I hope this was helpful in some way, if you have any questions please do comment or tweet me.Which heat protector do you use?
Thank you see you soon x x
