New Years Resolutions

Hey There,

Happy New Year to you all! So this is the time we are all thinking about how we are going to ‘kick ass’ in 2015, am I right? (World domination plans are in action) Plus scoffing all the left overs from Christmas, ready for the new ‘healthy’ start tomorrow, (Diets only start on Mondays right?), that we will all probably fail by the end of the week, (So positive aren’t I?)!

I thought it would be a good time to reflect on how well I did with my 2014 resolutions, and to be straight with you, two of them are just damn laughable! Why I ever say to myself ‘I’ll cut out chocolate’ I don’t know, I’ve probably scoffed a few dozen celebrations boxes alone this Christmas, (Don’t judge me)! And any shopping bans, have certainly not lasted longer than a month, just ask my family, they’d be rolling on the floor at this.  But taking away the ‘standard’ routine resolutions, I’ve done allright.

I’ve worked hard on my blog this year, refocusing it, building up my followers, revamping it and getting it all technically up to date, (As in, I called my techy wizz kid friend in for a favour). I’ve seen my confidence with the blog grow, I’ve attended more events, worked with more brands, met so many interesting people, and made friends for life with some of them.

I’ve taken a step back in to beauty, which funnily enough I feel has landed me back on the track for my pathway to my dream job, (Of which has not been narrowed down to just one title as of yet) I just feel like I’m on the right stepping stone. I made this decision in July, and with a pay and hour decrease, I’m happier than I have been since I stepped out of university, (Startled like a Deer in headlights).

I’ve seen more of the World, in particular a beautiful little Island in Greece called Rhodes. This was my summer holiday and damn it was good. Sun, sea and chill time. This years plans may involve Canada and Shanghai, (I’m branching out of Europe).

I’m actually very surprised at my 2014 tick list. In all honesty I was thinking I had failed them all, what a great way to start 2015…. Buzzing!

How well did you get on with your 2014 resolutions? What will you be setting yourself for 2015?

Lots of love,

KBxx
