Homemade Anti Aging Cream Recipes for Youthful Skin

Homemade Anti Aging Cream Recipes 

The key to making an amazing anti aging cream is to have an ingredient that acts as an emollient so that the skin gets the required amount of moisture. You can mix in a couple of drops of essential oil for fragrance and anti-aging effect. Add to this  nourishing ingredients like Vitamin E and Vitamin C which also have anti-aging benefits and you have your own anti-aging cream. Massaging your skin with the anti-aging cream will make your skin toned and taut. These simple homemade anti aging cream recipes are cost-effective, free from any harmful chemicals and have a shelf life lasting upto 6 months. Try them at home and you are sure to kiss the expensive anti aging creams goodbye.

1. Almond-beeswax-shea butter anti aging cream

Almond-beeswax-shea butter anti aging cream

  • 1/4 cup almond oil
  • 2 tsp beeswax
  • 2 tsp shea butter
  • 2 capsules Vitamin E
  • 4 drops lavender essential oil

To make the cream,melt the beeswax and shea butter in a double boiler. Turn off the heat and add in the other oils into the mixture. Once the mixture is half cooled, scoop it out into a jar and let it cool. It hardens upon cooling. Take a pea sized amount of the cream in the night and smooth it onto your skin in upward strokes.

The lavender essential oil increases the blood flow to the skin and causes your skin to be refreshed. Vitamin E oil and almond oil improve the collagen production and smooth out wrinkles on your skin. Make the cream in small batches and use regularly for best results.

2. Rosehip and Almond Oil Anti aging cream

Rosehip oil has this amazing ability to firm up the skin and to promote the collagen production in the skin. The oil is rich in retinoic acid, Vitamin C and omega-3 fatty acids. Regular use of rosehip oil on the skin helps improve the elasticity of the skin and in reducing blemishes. Add to this almond oil that is rich in Vitamin E and you have an anti aging potion that is sure to keep you youthful. To make the cream, you need,

  • 2 tbsp rosehip oil
  • 4 tbsp shea butter
  • 2 tbsp almond oil
  • 2 drops of geranium and cypress essential oils each

To make the cream, melt shea butter in a double boiler. Add to it the rosehip oil and almond oil. Adding cypress and geranium essential oils will increase the effectiveness of the cream. Both the essential oils help in firming the skin and making the skin tone even. Store the cream in a small pot and use it to massage your face with every night. Regular massage will tighten your skin. It also helps rejuvenate your skin so that you wake up looking youthful every morning.

3. Pomegranate and Cocoa Butter cream

Pomegranate is rich in antioxidants which help slow down the aging process, making it a sought after ingredient in anti aging creams. Pomegranate seed oil is a potent oil which packs in all the benefits of pomegranates. To make the cream, you would need,

  • 2 tbsp cocoa butter
  • 1 tbsp pomegranate seed oil
  • 1 tbsp jojoba oil

Melt the cocoa butter in a double boiler. Add to it the oils and mix well. Store it in a small jar and use it nightly as an anti-aging cream. Cocoa butter has this incredible ability to moisturize the skin and pomegranate and jojoba will improve the elasticity of the skin and keep you looking young.
