Holkham Hall Wedding Photographer
This beautiful wedding, at Holkham Hall on the North Norfolk coast, was a fantastic opportunity for me to second shoot with the very lovely Katherine Ashdown. Like a lot of wedding photographers, I started to build my wedding photography portfolio through assisting and second shooting. And while I have my own business now, taking an opportunity to be second shooter for the day is still something I love to do. It helps keep me on my creative toes, it’s a brilliant way to grow and learn as a photographer and I get to meet some really great people, both photographers, as well as Brides and Grooms. For the lead photographer it can help to have another experienced photographer along for the day, someone who can be trusted to complement their work, as well as bringing a little something extra to the photography. Two photographers means two different vantage points, lens choices and creative perspectives which all go toward telling the story of your wedding day.
