We do get Himalaya products at Indian Grocery Stores here in Australia but not always and also not all the products are available here. There are only 3-4 products available which are generally demanded by customers.
My friend got me this Himalaya Neem Scrub which I have used a few times and is going to be reviewed in this post.

Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Scrub
Product Description: Himalaya Purifying Neem Scrub is an exfoliating product which has antibacterial properties. It has been claimed on the packaging that this scrub is specially formulated to give you clear, problem-free skin. It works with a dual exfoliation and purifying action. Packaging: Himalaya Purifying Neem Scrub comes in an opaque, white, plastic tube which has a green colored flip cap. The cap is easy to open and closes with a click and is secure. The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly.Himalaya Purifying Neem Scrub has a medium consistency with creamy texture. It has a pleasant herbal fragrance which should not bother people with sensitive noses because it fades away when you wash the scrub off ypur face. The scrub has minute green particles along with orange woody particles which are larger than green particles in size. Being nutty, orange colored apricot particles feel harsh and abrasive on the skin and green colored Neem particles feel synthetic beads because no matter how much you rub them, they don't dissolve.

The cream based scrub is not much loaded with the exfoliating particles so I did not feel that it was evenly exfoliating my skin. On most of the parts of my face I felt as if I was rubbing cream only and on rest of the places I was feeling getting scratched with those hard nutty granules. My skin looked clear and soft when I washed my face but it did not exfoliate in a gentle way as opposed to what is claimed on the packaging. I could not dare to use this scrub more than twice on my face. However, I use it on the parts of my body like arms, legs, elbows and knees where our skin is more resilient. It does a good job to scrub the dead skin off the arms.Overall, I would say that this scrub is not gentle enough to be used on the face. It should be richer, thicker and milder to suit my needs. I will finish this packaging by exfoliating my arms etc but I won't use it again on my face because it can cause micro-cuts on the skin and can have a damaging effect on the epidermis.Given below are some quick good and bad points about this Himalaya Purifying Neem Scrub:Yays':
- Affordable and easily available in India
- Sturdy and Travel friendly packaging
- Skin feels clear and soft after using this
- Did not cause any breakouts
- Cream base is not enough dense with scrubbing particles
- Nutty particles feel harsh and abrasive on the skin
- Green colored Neem particles feel like plastic beads
This product from Himalaya gets a NO from me because despite of having not so sensitive skin, it did feel so harsh and abrasive to me. I won't recommend or repurchase this product.
