Here is our $8 thrift store find in action…
…making grilled ham, swiss cheese with mustard on homemade sourdough bread. In four minutes, you have one yummy sandwich! I was ready to eat too! I had just finished working out on my exercise bike. Another thrift store find and treasure…
I snapped this with my phone and tweeted about how the first 10 minutes of exercise are always the hardest but once you get past that…you might as well finish with the rest of your workout. The bike doesn’t have all the bells and whistles. Really…you don’t need them. Just hop on and start pumping! If you are on Twitter, let me know and I will be sure to follow you!
The plan of the day was to head back over to Carolyn’s place and pick up a few things and organize the 100s of books still left after we hauled our 100 or so back here last weekend. The kids and I made several trips up and down the stairs bringing all the books down to the first floor. Holy schmoley there were a lot of books! I am definitely counting this as part of my workout today!

The kids and I came home, unloaded the car and put things away. A place for everything and for everything a place. Whoever said that…I am running out of places!
Tomorrow I am taking a road trip with some girlfriends to Tennessee. I’m not sure where exactly – I’m just along for the ride! It was one of those last-minute let’s go kinda of things. Love those kind of trips!
