The Golden Dragon | Black sticky rice, mango, coconut sago, matcha pandan pond | $15.50I decided to order The Golden Dragon because I wanted to eat something refreshing and light since it was so hot outside. The Golden Dragon was perfectly platted and when viewed from the top it actually looks like a dragon. The dish definitely ticked the box of being refreshing, this was mainly from the fresh mangoes. However, I did not enjoy the black sticky rice at all- the rice was actually quite hard and when mixed with the matcha pandan sauce and coconut sago there was a very strange texture and flavor. I did enjoy the coconut sago, matcha pandan sauce and mango combination- the flavours and textures blended well together. This amount on this dish was very generous, so I would recommend that you share it with a friend because me being a little pig could not finish this by myself :P

The stand out for at Haven was the service, from the moment we stepped into the cafe we were greeted by friendly smiles. Even though there was a little bit of a problem with out order (wrong dish) they graciously apologised and gave us the correct dish. Massive shout out to our friendly waitress! The food is a little bit on the pricey side but if you're looking for something different and innovative, Haven is the place to go.Happy eating x
