Happy Customers

Posted on the 21 December 2011 by Maria Snyder @MariaConsulting

Happy customers are what makes or breaks a business. Great customer service is best served face to face, not in a voice mail or email messages. Make the effort, go to where your customers are, at home, at work and stop by in person to thank them for their patronage, shake their hand and smile.  A smile is worth a million if it’s sincere.

In today’s marketplace, times are tough, taxes are increasing for business and you need to keep your cash flowing.  A phone call to wish a customer Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year needs to happen now. The ability to connect with them should not be taken for granted.

If you using social media in your business, take that phone call and face to face greeting to say “hey stop by my Facebook page and like me” “follow me on Twitter” or “Circle me” on Google Plus.  Your customer gets the best of worlds, face to face interaction and an awareness that you are in the social media sphere and want to connect with them there too!

So to you future customer, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and have a wonderful New Year. I’ll be knocking on the doors of my existing customers this week, and next to give them a smile and a cookie made by me with love.
