Guilty Pleasures

By Whattowearfor @whattowearfor

So my shopping ban lasted less than a fortnight (that is still quite impressive for me). It all fell apart today when I thought I needed one last dress for the almighty conference and succumbed to this absolute bargain from Primark for a mere £13. Really, how could I say no?! Guilty Pleasures

Being me, I couldn’t leave the store with just one thing so also purchased a pair of black pumps (they’re necessary for EVERYTHING!), a plain black tee (also absolutely essential) and some sheer tights (a la Kate Middleton) as a back-up for days where the pins are less-than-perfect. I wear tights a lot, but I’ve never used Primark ones before so will be interested to see if they are any good – I’ll let you know soon.

I always feel shopping is like pringles, once you start you literally can’t stop. So, to top the guilt off, I also jumped on the bandwagon and bought a copy of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ to see what all the fuss is about. I’ll report back soon.

In the meantime, today was a half day at work. All I had to do was have a small meeting in London with one of the bosses and the rest of the day was my own. Perfect! I’m going to spend it at home packing for Brighton, getting my flat in order and becoming acquainted with Mr Grey. Bliss.

Also, to celebrate finishing my report, and to generally relax, the boy and I are going out for dinner this evening. Nothing fancy but I am looking forward to spending the time together now I am (temporarily) less stressed.
