Firstly, let me begin this post with an apology. I haven’t posted anything in over a week and it is not through want of trying, I just haven’t found the time. Being busy is making the blog take a passenger seat in life at moment but I am working on getting around 3-4 posts up a week.
Anyway, back to today.
I have been wanting to post about this product for ages as it is my new favorite thing. The new (although not that new now!) GOSH BB palette is a handy little thing containing three creamy skin shades: two matte and one shimmery. This palette is incredibly versatile and is perfect for traveling or keeping in your handbag for touch ups.
I have the shade Medium, which at the minute is far too dark for me to use as a concealer palette. However, it will be a perfect shade match when I am on holiday, so I have already booked it’s place in my holiday make up bag. There is a lighter shade which is meant to be used to conceal minor imperfections or to add a natural highlight to the skin (it also makes a great eyeshadow base), a medium shade which is to be used for contouring and a darker, shimmery shade for highlighting and bronzing up the cheeks.
So how does if perform? The products are really creamy and buildable and would work on all skin types. The contour shade is great and really adds definition to the face without making your look muddy. Everything lasts pretty well on the ski, but I do still powder over everything as my skin is on the oily side.
The packaging is tiny but sturdy and comes with a good sized mirror for on the go application. Available in two shades, it contains Jojoba oil and Vitamin E to keep skin hydrated. I also love that it is fragrance and paraben free.
If you had amazing skin, you could get away with just using this palette to even out your skin tone and I think it would be a great product for make-up newbies.
I really enjoy using this and it is the first concealer palette of its kind that has actually worked for me! High praise indeed!
