Google +1: Where Do I Check Mine?

Posted on the 10 June 2011 by Jesusmsanchezl @JesusmSanchezl

Google +1Hello,

Since Google released the +1 button, we have been like kids in a candy store: click on the things we like. But many people ask themselves: WHERE THE HECK DO I CHECK MY +1′s and what do they do?

The answer is really simple. according to Google, this is the definition of +1:

The +1 button is shorthand for “this is pretty cool” or “you should check this out.”

Click +1 to publicly give something your stamp of approval. Your +1′s can help friends, contacts, and others on the web find the best stuff when they search.

So try it out! help your friends with their web searches and mark something “pretty cool”.

Ok now to the point that everybody wants to check out.

In order to check and vote +1 to an article or a webpage, you MUST be logged with your google account. Once you are logged into your account, go to the box where your email is displayed and click on it (it is on the upper right side of your screen). A dropdown list will be displayed as follow.

Gmail Account Options

Click on “view Profile” option. This will redirect you to your Google Profile. Here you can edit the information, enable that users send you emails (don’t worry, your address won’t be displayed), add the Google Buzz tab and of course CHECK MY +1!.
