Now I think it is safe to say, this Autumns trademark look is the dark berry lips. I’m all about the plum, purple, red, or cherry lipsticks, its what Autumn make up is all about this year, and I’m eager to grow my collection.
I have been really excited to share this look with you, as I’ve been absolutely loving some of the Autumn looks and inspo about at the moment. I actually picked this lipstick up before the summer, after seeing one of my friends wearing it at a festival, and it’s been neglected amongst my pinks all summer. This Revlon lippy in Black Cherry is the darkest shade I own, but it wears gorgeously, it has a beautiful tone to it, I always get compliments when wearing it, and it only costs £7.49, (Get to the shops now).
I did originally want a more golden eye shadow to compliment the lipstick, but having not been able to put down my Urban Decay Naked 3 recently, I opted for a more subtle rose gold tone, using ‘trick’ as a base colour, lining the eye and creating a smokey look with ‘factory’. As always my look would not be complete with out a flick of eye liner, so using my Collection kohl eye pencil, I lined the inner eye. And of course to match my rose gold eyes, it had to be rose gold for my cheeks, using Benefit Cosmetics Rockateur.
I think this look is perfect for the day time, and can be glammed up for the evening, with some precision winged liner, some false lashes, and maybe some more golden tones for the eyelids, what do you think?
