Gobdigoun Products Part 2
Welcome back to Part 2 of the Gobdigoun products series. In part 2, I will be reviewing, Gobdigoun masks. Unlike other reviews, I invite my mother and the boyfriend to try out selected masks as well. This allow you to see how the selected masks works on a middle aged woman's complexion and a male's complexion. Presenting the masks and the participants trying them -

Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask & 3D Black Science Mask
The first 2 masks that I touched on would be the placenta mask and the 3D Black science mask. Both of these masks have 2 parts to them - one for the T-zone and one for the U-zone. On top of that, they both have very interesting ingredients:
- Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask - Placenta and Bio Cellullose
- 3D Black Science Mask - Diamond and Volcanic Mineral for the top part, Pumpkin extract for the bottom
Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask | 胎盘生物科技面膜
Why use placenta?First mask that we'll touch on is the Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask. I'm sure many of you were both shocked and curious on what does a placenta mask do. Well I was too. Here's a breakdown of how can a placenta mask help you:
What placenta did it used?Given that placenta is the 'bag' that the fetus grow in, it have a high level of fundamental nutrition. This helps to moisturize, smoothen and maintain elasticity. It also vows to be comfortable while at it.
Sheep's placenta. Aside from the sheep placenta, human-friendly amino-acid and functional peptide was added too. These help to nourish one's skin adequately.
- Obtained from cultivation of microscopic organism. It have a similar structure to cellular walls of plants
- Highly polymerized compounds obtained by cultivating the natural microorganism. It's called Acetobacter Xylinum along with the fermentation of natural ingredients.
Aside from placenta, Bio-cellulose was added as well. The bio-Cellulose used was:

- Sheep placenta extract 1800mg - Placenta protein 180mg
- Squalan
- Macadamia terniforlia seed oil - help improve the balance between moist and oil of your skin
The gel mask comes in multiple different packaging and this is their third packaging. I like how it have a minimalist look, allowing it to fit in with their skincare products' packaging.
Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask Ingredients:
The Verdict - Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask
First off, I noticed how filmsy and protected the gel masks were. It comes in 2 parts, the top and the bottom. Both of them came with 2 protective films each - at the front and at the back. After removing them, the masks was rather jelly like and wobbly. This made it fit perfectly on the curves of my face. On the contrary, this also made the mask difficult to put on. I like how there's a mouth and eyes cover, giving us the alternative to cure those area. Despite packaging instructions on how we could move around in the mask, I find that a daunting task. The main reason would be how it kept attempting to slide down on it's own. Therefore, I would recommend one to relax and lie down while having these masks on.
The masks felt very cooling and both have loads of essence. I was rather shock at it's fresh and lovely scent, considering that it's main ingredient was placental protein. Subsequent to removal, I did find my skin surprisingly smooth after absorption. Furthermore, my complexion looked whiter, more radiant and younger.
In a mass, I would give Gobdigoun's Placenta Bio Cellulose Gel Mask 4 IreviewUread smiles. I like how perfectly it fits my face plus they have an extra eye and mouth cover. It also have a pleasant scent and cooling to have on. It did it's job in moisturizing, smoothing and allow my skin to look more youthful. However, I had trouble putting it on my face and maintaining it's position while upright.
For this mask, my mother is the model of the post ;)
3D Black Science Mask | 3D 钻石科技面膜
Next, I'm going to touch on the 3D Black Science Mask. Like the placenta mask, the black science mask comes in 2 parts. This is to ensure that the mask fits on to your face perfectly. On top of that, this allows the mask to cover the area that is not cared for in a single sheet mask. Areas includes the chin, lower chin and cheekbone area.
Unlike the placenta mask, the top and bottom parts of the mask each have different ingredients. That means they have different characteristics as well.
Diamond and Volcanic Mineral - The top part
The top of the mask contains diamond and volcanic mineral. The volcanic ash ingredients boost the absorptive power of the mask. This allow the nutritional ingredients to penetrate into dermal layers. Furthermore, the mask contains abundant mineral. This mineral absolve dirt on the skin, tone up loose skin and maintain peak dermal health of the face.
Pumpkin & Fruit Extract - The Bottom
Whereas the bottom half of the mask contains Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin) & Fruit extract. The pumpkin and fruit extract helps to purify and brighten the facial skin tone. On top of that, the pumpkin fruit extract aids in retaining moisture in the skin.
As seen, the mask is true to it's claims for it covers every single inch of the face and chin. I like how they even have eye covers for the eyes.
The Verdict - 3D Black Science Mask
Aside from having the perfect fit, the 3D black science mask have a sweet extract smell. Despite having different ingredients in the masks, the scent of both of the masks are similar. They both have orange coloured essence - a sign that pumpkin extract was included. A colour that is unique for a mask essence. Apart from the rare colour, it have a unique mask colour. Black to be more specific. Seldom would I see a black facial mask, this made the mask stand out even more. I like how Gobdigoun is taking a unique approach to their mask. However I did find the mask difficult to pull apart due to it's overflowing essence. A trait that's both good and bad at the same time.
After using the mask, I did find my mother's face not only look brighter but whiter as well. There's even a glow on her face that gives her a younger appearance. She also did feel more hydrated than before.
All in all, I would give Gobdigoun 3D Black Science Mask 3 and a half IreviewUread smiles. I like how it not only have the extra eye covers but it also have an extra part for the chin. Furthermore, the mask succeed in allowing one's face to look brighter and whiter. It also help one to look younger and feel more moisturized as well. However, it's uncertain if the mask did cleanse the pores and tone loose skin.
Water Balloon Masks | 人鱼公主水气球天蠶絲面膜
The following 2 masks that I will touch on is the water balloon series. These masks had beautiful mermaids at the front of their packaging. Plus, the packaging was a lot larger than the normal masks. I find that this is very eye catching and exceptional.
Aqua Water Balloon Mask | 保湿气球天蠶絲面膜
The first water balloon mask that I touch on would be the aqua water balloon. The aqua series is made with high plateau area in Alps. Made with Portulac a Olearcae Extract and Witch Hazel Flowers Water. This helps improve skin hydration, soothing, elasticity and nourishment. Additionally, it improves moisturizing power too. It also use the alpine herb, arnika montana flower, that grows wild around swiss alps mountain. The arnika montana flower helps to maintain a healthy complexion.

The Verdict - Aqua Water Balloon Mask
I like how the aqua water balloon mask have a nice subtle scent to it. It was extremely cooling. In fact, I would said, it even felt more chilly than the normal mask. The texture of the mask sheet was indeed thinner than the usual masks. It was easy to put on and it stayed on while I was upright. It was a very enjoyable 20 minutes.
After removal, I did notice my complexion became whiter and extremely moisturised. Certain parts of my face still looked red and the face still felt sticky after absorption. What's interesting about this mask is, my face still feel rather chilly for an extended amount of time.
On the whole, I would give Gobdigoun Aqua Water Balloon 4 and a half IreviewUread smiles. It meets it's criteria of hydrating and nourishing the face. Furthermore, I like how it is not only thinner but chillier than normal sheet masks too. It was like as if my face was in a refrigerator - perfect for the summer days. I like it's unique packaging too. One thing that I did not fancy would be how my face still felt sticky after the essence have been absorbed.

Whitening Water Balloon Mask | 美白气球天蠶絲面膜
Finally I'll touch on the last mask of the post, the whitening water balloon mask. Like the aqua water balloon mask, there's a beautiful mermaid on the packaging of the mask. The whitening water balloon mask helps you achieve softer and smoother skin.
Ingredients such as Vitamin B3 (episode3 niacinamide) were included to increase whitening elements. Per it's name, the mask aims to brighten and whiten your face. Additionally, it helps with the moisturization of your skin.

The Verdict - Whitening Water Balloon Mask
Similar to the Aqua water balloon mask, the whitening water balloon mask was easy too apply and thin. It was rather cooling and have a floral smell to it. For fit of the whitening water balloon mask, it seemed a bit shorter for The Boyfriend. Then again, The Boyfriend have a long face.
After removal, one could see the whitening effect. On top of that, his face look younger and more nourished than before. He felt hydrated and moisturised. Alike the Aqua water balloon mask, the face remained sticky after absorption.
En Masse, I would give Gobdigoun's Whitening Water Balloon Mask 4 ireviewuread smiles. It does it's job in whitening and hydrating the skin. Plus, it have a charming packaging. It's easy to put on and does not slide off when sitting upright. Similar to the Aqua whitening water balloon mask, the serum did have a sticky after effect. Plus, it was a bit small for people with long faces.
