Glam’ Brun Eyes

By Beautybykaris @beautybykaris

Hey There,

For as long as I can remember, I have always loved my sisters eye make up, her classic look is brown eye shadow, black eye liner and big, full, lashes, (Unfortunately I did not inherit the big lashes).

My sister is an older, slimmer, brunette version of myself, her eye make up is quite dark, as it suits her complexion and hair. Me, as a blonde, needed to tweak this look a bit, so here is my version of brown eyes, (With some added liquid liner).

Product of choice: Rimmel London’s Glam Eyes Quad Eye shadow in Smokey Brun retailing at £6.99

Using color 3, (Bottom shadow) I cover the eye lid up to the brow line.

Following with color 1, (Left shadow) I blend the two together over the eye lid, creating a lovely base.

I then start blending color 2, (Right shadow) from the outside in, starting to create a smokey look.

The final color 4, (Top shadow) is used to line the under eye, and the outer eyelid.

This shadow set is lovely, the colours compliment each other very well, and the color stays on all day, with only a small amount of creasing.

To complete the look, I used Loreal’s Super Liner Eye Liner in Black, retailing at £6.49.

Using the Super Liner, I lined the upper eyelid, for a more ‘stand out’ look.

This was my first ever liquid liner, (So I don’t have much to compare it to), but the ‘pen’ like applicator, makes it fairly easy to apply, (The problem was keeping the hand steady). The liner dries almost instantly, and lasts all day. The only downfall of the product, is that there isn’t that much product, (Or so it seems). I have only used it a handful of times, yet it seems like it is drying out, (Any tips for this, please let me know)

AND here is my Brown eyed look…

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MY BROWN EYED LOOK?

Lots of Love,
