Our clients include oil, gas and pipeline companies, municipal and provincial governments, construction, engineering and land development firms. We are seeking a GIS/Mapping Manager to join our team in Calgary
Reporting directly to the Corporate CAD Manager, the GIS/Mapping Manager’s key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Provide mentorship, promote skills development, short and long term goal development for all direct reports
• Ensure Client needs and Can-Am’s client service expectations are met
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• A minimum 5 years’ industry experience; preference given to land survey/geomatics industry experience
• A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate others
• The ability to delegate tasks and provide direction to others
• Good written, verbal communication skills
• The ability to create positive relationships with clients, co-workers, management personnel and reports
• Willingness and ability to assume drafting duties as dictated by workload
