My experience with the product
Garnier Pure Active Apricot Exfoliating Face Scrub comes in a bright eye-catching white and orange squeezy tube packaging with flip open cap. The only con being - product accumulates around the opening. Overall the products is travel-friendly because the cap shuts tightly and would not open up easily.
I have combination to dry skin, hence I do exfoliation once a fortnight when I'm doing my own facial at home. The scrub is creamy white and has grainy texture of apricots. The texture is creamy and exfoliates pretty well without being harsh on skin. When I first started using it, my skin felt extremely dry and stretchy, thanks to my dry skin and I felt weird and started using it as a mask, then let it dry for 5-7 minutes and then scrubbing it off while washing. On washing it off - my skin was squeaky clean but did not urge for instant moisturisation. With continuous usage since past 3 months (once a fortnight) - I could see a reduce in blackheads (I had just one or two) on my nose. However, I prefer Forest Essentials Kashmiri Walnut Gel Scrub for my combination skin, because it deep cleanses my skin without drying out and the gel consistency is apt for both summers and winters. But when traveling Garnier Pure Active Apricot Exfoliating Face Scrub is quite handy (FE gel scrub comes in glass jar) and does decent job of exfoliation revealing bright, refreshed skin.Rating : 4.5/5
