Recently, we heard that the Galaxy S5 Prime will come in five colours – gold, black, white, blue and pink – and we’ve also learned that it will probably feature a metal casing instead of a plastic one. Naturally, those are not the only rumours floating around the Internet, which is why we decided to gather everything we know about the upcoming S5 Prime into one post.
The Prime is expected to be better than the S5.
Many rumours suggest that this handset will come with a 5.1in display and a QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels). On the inside will be a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, backed by 3GB of RAM. As for storage, you’ll be able to choose between a 32GB and a 64GB model, which you’ll be able to expand up to 128GB via a microSD slot.
The Galaxy S5 Prime will most likely have the same cameras as the S5 – a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and a 16-megapixel rear one. The smartphone will run Android 4.4 KitKat.

The release date info is not 100% certain, but we can expect the S5 Prime to go on sale in June, when Samsung will probably release the Galaxy S5 Mini and the Galaxy S5 Active, too.
