Hair & Beauty Magazine
Another FOTD post, I love these. Any way, so it has been sunny! Yay, so for me that means minimal make up. I don't want to look too cakey and I don't want to have my make up melt off. So I have been using lighter make up and less of it.
I used Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Night treatment for the base. I used the night treatment for two reasons, I have run out of my day treatment and it has a little more effect. For foundation I used Miss Sporty Perfect Skin, this is great for a light base as it has good coverage but it is really light on the skin. It also has ingredients in that help clear up blemishes. I applied this using both my fingers and the real techniques buffing brush.
For cheeks I used Dainty Doll Blush in Shade 2.
This is a gorgeous pink, it has really great pigment and is a very fine powder so sits nicely on the skin. I have been loving this, especially with the hotter weather.
I went for soft eyes, I took Zero from Urban Decay along the top lash line and blended this out with the Real Techniques Detailer Brush. I took this inside the tight line and the bottom water line. I didn't take it all the way down the waterline as I didn't want to look too made up.I also used the detailer brush to fill in my brows using Urban Decay Corrupt. Finally for my lashes I used Maybelline Illegal Length Waterproof Mascara. This really does lengthen the lashes.
This look lasted all day and gave a really soft yet defined look.I hope you enjoy these FOTD Posts. Please comment with any products you love to use when the weater gets slightly warmer.
Thank you, see you soon.
