We’re always looking for things that make meal times fun, so an egg cup that comes with a smiley face spoon ticks all our boxes.
If you have a child who is not eating well you may need to make mealtimes more enjoyable you can do this by making shapes out of their food or by using items such as the Forma House kids home & kitchen items.
Yes yes and yes, I have been waiting and looking out for new adventurous kids feeding items to help make mealtimes for fun!
When the egg cup came I do have to say at first glance a big smile came to my face as I have never seen anything like this before.
What also struck me is how light it is as with other ones used in the past they are been very heavy plus bulky which this one was none of.
The egg cup has an added bonus of which is the feature of the spoon that comes with it,as you can see on the picture above it has a little bit of an extended piece to it that the spoon is placed on.
You will also notice the smiley face that is on the spoon making it more endearing for kids,do think the bold colourful colours are very eye-catching.
This spoon has a wider bottom so perfect for little hands that are not quite confident at holding feeding items, or in my daughters case with her illness (Hydrocephalus) is perfect for her to grip as her illness can leave her weak at holding cutlery.
Always very handy that it is Dishwasher safe!
In our household we did a little experiment one child using the Forma House egg cup and the other child with just a bog standard old one,do have to say my little boy was not happy at all he had the old one bless him.So it shows kids do go for the more brightly coloured fun items.
Pricing coming in at around £10 I did not think was bad at all in fact found it better value then some with just the cup.
