My experience with the product
Forest Essentials Lip Scrub comes in a small transparent pot with a metallic golden screw-on lid that has the Forest Essentials insignis printed on it. The transparent lip scrub pot comes securely packed inside a cardboard pack that has all the necessities mentioned on it - ingredients, price, quantity, directions to use, etc. I don't like dipping my fingers into the tub packaging and I generally always go for squeeze tube packaging. It has an inner plastic lid which prevents any spillage.
The lip scrub is a cream colored scrub that has minute sugar scrub particles mixed with some natural oils, beeswax and butter that makes the lips soft and smooth. The scrubbing particles are very subtle and mild, does not over-dries the skin. You can use the scrub everyday and it leaves lips free from any dead skin and with regular usage one get soft pink lips. I have using this scrub since the last 17 days and it has gradually reduced my lip pigmentation. It hydrates, softens and smoothes out the lips quite well. It has faint citrus scent. The formula of the lip scrub has some buttery substance along with the granules which also works like a lip balm in hydrating and healing dryness on the lips. My lips instantly feel hydrated and it feels super soft just within few seconds of application itself. As the formula has moisturizing agents like jojoba oil in it, I sometimes even skip lip balm application after scrubbing.
How I use
- Take out the desired amount - pea sized scrub with your finger and rub it on your lips with soft circular motion till it gets absorbed.
- Using a damp towel, wipe off the dead skin off your lips.
- Use a lip balm afterwards.
