Known for its white sand beaches and impressive Bauhaus architecture, Tel Aviv now has something else to draw the discerning visitor: its first scientific low-carb conference on November 7 and 8, 2019.
Called Metabolix, the conference is being organized by a team led by Israeli diabetes expert Dr. Mariela Glandt. The two-day event leading low-carb clinicians and researchers. Speakers include Gary Taubes, Ivor Cummings, Jeffry Gerber, Eric Westman, Zoe Harcombe, David and Jenn Unwin, and Steve Phinney.
"It's going to be amazing," said Dr. Glandt, who notes the conference has been put together "by dozens of volunteers who believe it is our duty to make this knowledge more widespread ... and challenge the current world view of metabolic disease and recovery."
