This past weekend was the first Easter for three new family members, including my adorable nephew, James. Chad, unfortunately, had to work so I got a ride with my cousin and her family on Friday.
On Saturday, a bunch of family member went to the Purple Valley Maple Syrup Festival. I wish it focused more on the maple syrup rather than the sad petting zoo and shooting competition, but James did get to pet a (cold, probably terrified) bunny.
There was SOME maple syrup stuff at the festival though and I picked up some syrup, maple butter (no, there isn’t any butter in it.) and maple candies. yum!
For Easter, I got James some clothes that I hoped he could fit into now and he did! Batman tee, hoodie and socks. What a cutie pie.
Some of this other presents, from my mom and his parents were a new trike/stroller and a helmet. All ready for summer.
Here’s all three kiddos on Jamie. Elsie has something against James and cries when she sees him, which sets off Josh crying too, but they were good long enough to get a few cute pictures.
