I suck at keeping up with monthly favorites, and truthfully I never feel like I have enough favorites to justify sharing. I think I just need to get over that seeing as I haven't come across any "blogger law" dictating a minimum product requirement for monthly favorites. Last month I finally tried out some mehron cosmetics, mostly due to my seeing some amazing artists online whose work I admire listing mehron in their product list. Mehron is a cruelty-free brand with many vegan options labeled clearly on their brand website for referencing. I also have a few drinks that I've loved this month to share with you all.

The Mehron Paradise AQ is something I have seen used by the amazing Kimberly Margarita to create many of her beautiful works. They are pans of water activated makeup paint that can create opaque liquid color to paint with. Above you can see a few of the looks I have created with this palette, it's just so amazing. I was a bit afraid with how opaque they would be, but if you are good about how much or little water you are saturating your brush with you can control the opacity very well.

The Mehron Mixing Liquid is much coveted among makeup artist and I found it to be sold out for ages on every site I checked. It is a favorite of the Pat McGrath and the extremely talented Vlada of Vladamua of instagram.

Lots of brands are coming out with their own brush mat and as someone has been using their hand to scrub their brushes I couldn't be happier for it. I have to admit thought most of the name brand ones I saw were unstylish and overpriced. I'm a simple girl and when I saw this matte black makeup brush cleaning mat for less than ten dollars. This mat is super effective and doesn't distort the shape of brushes after use. I use my Dr. Bronners with it to clean all of my makeup brushes.

I love tea, and I find myself with at least two cups of tea in my hand everyday just to maintain sanity. Green tea has always been my favorite, usually I have gone with a simple green tea with lemon. Over the past couple of years however Kombucha has become a favorite drink of mine, not simply because of its health benefits but also I just happen to enjoy the taste of it.
Celestial Seasonings Green Tea Matcha
Another yummy tea here, I have become a big fan of Matcha over the past year and this is my first time having warm matcha and it is amazing. For all my tea drinking I am not a fan of added sweeteners or creams; I will drop the occasional lemon wedge but that is about it.
Kombucha
I am absolutely addicted to GTs Kombucha, it is my favorite drink. I was never much into sodapop, and I haven't purchased much sweetened juice since high school. I find GTs Kombucha to be nourishing, energizing and tasty.

This one is simple, I like gum and most mainstream gum isn't cruelty-free or vegan this one is, and I find it does not get hard and unchewable which is great for me. It is on the pricey side, but at this point I've gotten used to seeing the vegan-tax.
