Family is All You Need...

By Anupamapnb @divallista

The love of this family can show the work of GodTo prevail over our weakest of momentsTo lend a hand or mend a broken heart.
To cry or laugh with one another shall always beEmbraced with open arms and a smiling face.
Times they are tough, but alone you will never be To have the love of this family It's as easy as One, Two, Three.
The joy of a birth, to watch a little life grow Are memories to cherish that we will never let go
The pain of a death, the emptiness felt inside, The family is all here, no need to hide
Over the years our surroundings have changed Now God has blessed us with a little James.
May our daughters grow into little women They better all remember my sweet baby lemon.
To be so lucky to have a family like this When we all get to Heaven, God deserves a big kiss.
In our souls, minds, and hearts May this family never be torn apart
The love of this family has shown me the work of God To realize this gift for the world to see, how much my family cares for me
May our love grow and carry on even long after we are all gone
Thank you to my family for the love that you all show Every good deed God will surely know.

My storyIt is common misconception that love is developed with unconditional love and understanding. Well that is one kind of love. But how come there is often so much friction in our family relationships? People are always saying, "Oh, my sister and I, we fought like cats and dogs". Friction in relationships is an opportunity to realize our differences and accept that although we can never fully understand each other, nonetheless we accept and love each other. Family is something we can never live without. I came to know more and more about the strongest bond of the family when I came across 2 such incidents that I'll be sharing with you all -I being the youngest in the family, have always been everybody's favorite and always been pampered. I have never been alone in the house, but after finishing my 12th, I decided to go and study in a different city so that I could adjust with other surroundings and people. My parents were very supportive and allowed me to give various competitive exams and decide for my future studies on my own. Finally I got admission in the Trident Academy of Bio Technology in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. For the first year, it was compulsory for all of us to stay in the Hostel, after which we can switch to any private homes. I could see the fear on my parents and sister's face but they had a smile and encouraged me to do well. To be frank, I was frightened enough thinking of the college and hostel life, the seniors ragging me, adjusting with 2 other girls in a room, etc. Finally a year passed away and I and my roomies shifted to a private house and there was no looking back. I enjoyed my 3 years in college to the fullest but missed my family a lot, specially my sister - with whom I use to fight, laugh and share my biggest secret and fear too. She was my support system, my guide, my second mother - I missed her a lot. As you all know by now that during final year of my college I underwent a major operation and stayed at home for 9 months. And when I was better enough to join back my college, trust me it was the hardest of the thing to leave my family and go back. I was in tears but my family filled me with hope and courage of becoming a very nice human being in the near future and I decided not to cry and went back to Odisha. During my studies, I craved a passion for makeup and started writing reviews for other blogs and finally decided to start my very own blog. After my studies I thought of pursuing my passion for makeup rather than cutting and inspecting animals and told about this to my family - and guess what they were a little disturbed but agreed eventually JUST FOR MY HAPPINESS, That's what everyone in family does! I became a full time blogger! During the initial days, I wasn’t earning much nor was getting any PR products for review, but still my parents made me hopeful for future and asked me think how famous I could be after 5 years, if I pursue my passion for makeup diligently and honestly. I have been blogging for 2 years now and trust me I love each moment of this journey. Now I trust this saying completely -"The one who knows the blessings and support of a family lacks nothing."Family always enlightens your dark night and fills you with hope and positivity for the future. This article has been written for the Indi Happy Hours campaign in association with https://housing.com/lookup
