Talks about the need to be wary of a Muslim Brotherhood takeover died out very quickly as the Egyptian crisis intensified. They resurfaced on Sunday morning shows and newspapers, and one has to wonder why.

The uprising occurred in Egypt because the people had enough of an oppressive regime that left them with little hope. Any party that would end up being voted into power, including the Muslim Brotherhood, will be met with the same resolve if it fails to meet the people expectation.
